Driving directions

From Fifth Street, enter campus at the stop light marking Founder’s Drive. Turn left at the stop sign onto Wright Circle.

 

Parking

Parking enforcement for College of Fine Arts and Communication events is relaxed near the auditorium.

S. Rudolph Alexander Performing Arts Series: Parking is reserved for FRIENDS at the Visitor’s Lot (Fifth and Harding Streets). Subscribers and ticketholders are welcome to park in the lot immediately north of McGinnis Auditorium (which is staffed and captured for this use on performance nights). Show the attendant your tickets. All other unmarked spaces near the venue are available (parking enforcement is relaxed) for our events.

Family Fare: Parking enforcement is relaxed on campus for these events. Park near the auditorium.

Other, non-college events: Check with the event organizer for specific parking instructions.

 

Restrooms

Restrooms for men and women are located on either side of the lobby on the orchestra level and in the hallway outside of the venue on the balcony level. At the southwestern corner of the orchestra level near the ADA ramp, a hallway leads to accessible restrooms. Additional accessible restrooms are located between the bookstore and food court on the main level of the Wright Building, outside of the auditorium space.

 

Site specific ADA

Assistive listening devices are available from the ticket window in the main lobby, or on request from any usher. The main entrance to the auditorium features a host of stairs. Elevator access to the balcony level is available through the Counseling Center door on the south (brick plaza) side of the building. Balcony use requires the navigation of stairs. Elevator assess to the orchestra level, for wheelchair and walker entry, is located at the bookstore entrance. Locate the silver Wright Building/bookstore sign on the brick plaza. Beyond the double doors is an elevator. The second floor serves the auditorium.
